Tune Question.

Do I need to get my computer retuned if I just installed headers? The car runs pretty good, just wondering if a retune does anything?

If you have intake and exhaust mod, just the regular bolt ons for me it made a huge difference advancing timing by 4 degrees. Car had much better top end and ran alot better. Had Ion from MadZ28 tune it.

You don't have to get a tune if you install headers. However, if you removed the emissions equipment and you have an SES light, then yeah, a tune will take care of that regard.

A good mail-order tune is worth 10 to 15HP in most cases. So yes, you should get one. A good bang for the buck. Even more so than the cost versus HP gains of the headers.
