Question TSP catted y on a lt1?

Just wondering if the TSP catted y pipe can be modified somewhat easily to fit on a 94 lt1?

That y-pipe is geared towards long tube headers. With that being said, I'm not sure if it will work. The LT1s have that portion of the floorpan that dips down and I believe that is the spot where the cat sits on that particular y-pipe. Then again, I am going off the faint memory of when I helped install that y-pipe on my friends LS1. I'm not sure if anyone has gone through the trouble of modifying it, I would guess you would have to cut out the cat on the drivers side and relocate it a little further down the pipe.

Get a hold of TSP, they might be able to answer your question.

Yea, I live in California, so smog is a pain, I don't want to spend the money on kooks emissions headers for the lt1's, so i'm leaning more towards pacesetters emissions headers. Anyone know if the kooks lt1 y pipe would fit with the pacesetters? My biggest thing is that I want to put cutouts right before the cats. Has anyone custom made a catted y pipe with cutouts for the lt1 with LT headers??? Hell i bet the tsp y pipe would work with some mods. If anything I might need to extend or shorten some pipes. Are the lt1 and ls1 bodies basically the same?

The other problem also is that you can fail emissions even with having the cats simply because they will not be in the factory locations. Not sure just how strict your regulations are, but it is something to think about.
