Torque Specs on header bolts?

Torque Specs on header bolts?

what do u torque your header bolts to? i have the stage 8 locking header bolts what is the torque on those?

no way ur gonna get a torque wrench on them anyway, so just tighten them good. The only real bad thing about stage 8's is, alot of times u have to back them off a little to get the locks to line up.

torque is 26ft/lbs on header bolts on LT1's and yes we could fit a torque wrench in there.... well at least the drivers side so far

Get back to us if you can fit one in there with ease on the passenger side. I just torqued mine down firmly with a ratchet. To this day, I have had no issues with leaks or the bolts backing out.
