Hello im having a ticking noise going on in the low end of my lt1. Sorry but im new to the site and this type of engine. I cant tell if its lifter racket coming from inside the engine or a exhaust leak. I can hear it from both sides of the car equally and when i get under the car it almost sounds like its coming from the transmission area. Its louder after a few minutes of starting the car and after that it kinda comes and goes its deff not consistent.. could this be a exhaust leak? Its on a 96 z28.. thanks in advance im sure i sound retarded.
