Are these longtube headers legit? (pics)

Found these on craigslist, but Idk what to look for on headers and how to tell if they're legit or not, so can you guys help me out? here's the description:

-----start------
I have 2 sets of custom Chevy LS1 headers. These were part of an engine and transmission pacakge deal and I do not need them. One set is short tube and one is long tube. The long tube set is in excellent condition and it appears to me that they have not been used. The short tube set appears to have been used. It is also in great shape, however it does has a few minor ding and the mounts on one side where it connects to the engine was cut off and needs to be rewelded (see pics). It is a clean cut that was purposely done, for what reason, I dont know. This is a simple fix if you can weld. The dings are pretty shallow and should not effect flow.

The guy I bought these from told me that these headers cost about $1400 total to have made. You are getting them for a fraction of the cost!

now obviously i'm only interested in the long tube headers. What do you guys think? how can i tell for sure?
