I never thought the day would come, but its here.

my car is just to damn loud. I really do not mind it but I care what others in my town/neighborhood think (and cops). I really hate being nervous and careful with the throttle when I see a cop and people I know in town.


My SLP loudmouth is all welded in and I REALLY do not want to install anything else, I just want this thing to be quieter and I do not mind sacrificing a few ponys to get it done (but not to many). I believe last year i came across some kind of cone type insert silencer for the tips. Anyone ever use one, have some recommendations, or reviews. How much HP would you estimate I will choke up with something like that.?

I have used CCI inserts in a 3 1/2" cat-back system. Less cost. Also @ Summit. I would recommend use of the cap that comes with the kit. Many motor cycles use a similar method of noise control. I have alot of noise with a chambered muffler due to supercharger. Always a problem on the street, but, superchargers require free flow fo power. B.
