seeking exhaust advice... need something better

i have the mods in the sig below...i have the hooker catback and offroad y- pipe with pacesetter headers (junk!). the hooker is nice, but it's too quiet for my liking at pretty much every rpm. WOT is okay. i am looking for something a louder, but not like a bullet setup. maybe magnaflow, mufflex? My hooker is also choing my power a bit, but i don't want to spend a lot on a custom true dual setup since i've got other things to improve on the car. I'v listened to sound clips, but nothing justifies... personally, i think all the other hooker catback cars i've been in sound louder than mine, but i dunno. any suggestions?

I DON'T WANT: I DO WANT:
-true duals with bullets -something deep
-gmmg chambered -Something under 500 bucks
-corsa -something that flows better for my setup
-borla -something that is louder than a hooker at lower rpm

thanks!

If you are looking for louder, the Magnaflow will not help you there. I have the Magnaflow catback along with the Pacesetter long tubes and it is pretty tame. Then I put a 30 dollar cutout on there and it is much more to my liking.

just so you know i got my true duals and x pipe for 210$ total, thats installed. hooker is one of the louder mufflers out there besides flowmaster.

also there is another option, you could add another hole on the driver side to mirror the inlet and add a 3 inch turn down. this will make it louder and should be less than 40 bucks to do. i did this on my flowmaster back in high school and made it sound way better.

you could take off the cats also.

The Mufflex systems have a really deep sound because of the larget caliber tubing (3.5 or 4"). It is very unique compared to all of the other 3" systems on the market.

We have a GP running on them right now until next friday. We need 5 orders in total to make that happen.

Otherwise, as far as louder goes, if not a loudmouth, a Borla system woudl be louder.

I second the GMMG. Heres a short video of it on my car.
Red Z has GMMG and the Silver Z has....Borla Maybe? (Forgot what he had)

alright, i guess this is not what i'm looking for. i have no cats already, and the hooker catback is actually fairly quiet while normal driving, then gets louder when you get into it. i want a catback or true duals

If you want loud, go with true duals.

damn, its hard to communicate properly online. i want something louder than my current catback, but i do not want bullets. i hear a lot of mustangs and f-bodies with catbacks that are much louder than mine. i'm looking for something with real mufflers...so no gmmg or bullets.

yes, i'd love true duals, but i want them to go over the axles and i don't want to spend 700 bucks doing it. nobody in my area will quote me for any less than 650. and yes, pacesetters are junk. junk junk. i got a good deal on them so i got them. you can't beat the price. here's the thing i noticed;
-the welds are very bird ****ty.
-the coating sucks and it only on the outside.
-the fitment in the car was terrible. i had to grind 1/4" off of each motor mountto get them on.
-it sounds like their quality control sucks because everybody has a different experience. some people have easy installs, some people have my problem, and some have something completely different....all on the same cars.
