Question on universal cat install engine size.

Can't stand the stink any longer. After two years I'm planning next mod to add cats back to my long tube installation. I am assuming since I have two pipes, one out of each header going to the Y then the catback, I can use a two slightly smaller engine size cats, one from each collector. These cats MagnaFlow Catalytic Converters - 49-STATE & CANADA Catalytic Converters For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles are recommended for up to 5.2 liters. So two for a 5.7 (2.85 liters per bank) should work OK ?? Have I missed something, or is this good to go.. Anyone have other recommendations, it's a tight fit under there.

Re: Question on universal cat install engine size.

I used a similar size of cat when I catted my Pacesetter ORY on my old LT1, they worked great. The key thing is having the shortest overall length possible for the driver's side branch of the y-pipe due to lack of clearance with other components.
