I have dynatech headers and y pipe on my 01 formula that i got used off a 98 z28. I got the headers on they fit ok, but the y pipe will not clear the tab on the end of the tranny mount so it sags pretty low expecialy on the passenger side. What im wondering is will a off road y pipe from pacesetter or any other brand bolt up to my dyantech headers and work?? i like the one piece design y pipes compared to this 5 piece y pipe from dynatech. thanks for any help guys.

 

I have an 01 Formula with Dynatech headers as well, with the catted y-pipe. What tab are you talking about? The way the y-pipe goes together, there is a lot of manipulating you can do to make it fit well, that is if it hasn't been welded together. As far as other pipes that will bolt up, doubt any are direct fit, probably near all of them could be modified or bent to fit.
