qtp cut-out

question and advice is anyone running longtubes, ory, and cat. I would like to put a elec. cut-out on my single cat. 93 my catback system is a flowmaster 3". Where do you install the cut-out at, before the cat. or before the ory pipe confused here. Never installed one of these, is it a waist of time for hp gains. my mod's. include heads milled and ported, lt-4 hot cam, 1.6 rr's, msd ign. system, c.a.i., tb, 160 deg., march pulleys. everyones tips would be appreciated. thanks

The spot right before the rear axle is the popular choice. I would say it is a worthwhile mod and should be good for a few horsepower.

Depending on how strict they are on you with emissions where you live, you could just cut out the cat and put it there. You could get a smaller cat and put it where 200GTP suggested if you really want to keep it. But closer to the headers equals more power.
