I'm curious, if I have my PCM reprogrammed and the rear 02's 'programmed out', will my car pass emissions? It is not a visual check, just a plug in test, and I'm concerned that the computer running the test will detect that something has gone awry.

The downstream o2 sensor only checks to see if the cat is working.
You can remove the cat and use an "o2 simulator" circuit (that reproduces the expected signal), and the computer won't know any different.
