Pacesetter Mid Tube Headers
I guess, there just a pain to install. Im just worried about it melting stuff under the hood. One thing i will recommend is to put some type of heat wrap, or even better, reroute your pcm wires on the passenger side while you have your headers off, because the wiring harness comes awfuly close to the header. I will stay they do have quite nice spark plug acess tho.
I just got done today, and still havent really gotten to know how these headers hold up, but im planning on doing alot of driving (with a fire extigisher in the back seat) tommorow to see how they hold up.

Try running a search, I know there is quite a few people running these headers. You shouldn't have to constantly fret about burning the engine bay with them. Just make sure that the wires aren't setting against a header.
I just installed a Mid tube set on my 95 Z and was amazed on how easy they went in. The drivers side went in from the top and the passenger side went in from the bottom with no problem.
The only issue that I had was where the Y pipe meets together and the steering arm hit the #3 primary, other than that they fit and install went pretty well.
Plug access was much better that stock, can get a regular plug socket on all of them with no problem.

Must have been another factor in there to make it take so long. I put my PaceSetter LT's on my car in under 2 hours. It only took about and hour and a half start to finish.
I probably took about three weeks to do my install. Granted I didn't work on it everyday and some of that time was spent waiting for a tune and I spent almost a full week just spraying all the old bolts with PB Blaster.
Trying to install mine now... can't steering shaft back on without it rubbing, afraid i may have to dent them. Searching to see what other people have done.
I loosened up the column inside the car to try and get a better angle... still no juice
