Pacesetter mid headers
Just picked up some headers for the car finally! Pacesetter mids.....is anybody else running these and if so...how good are they? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PSM-72C1335/?rtype=10
I have used these on my 95 Z for about 2 years without a problem. They were easy to install, just drop the starter on the passenger and it will slip right in. It took longer to get the old stuff off than it did to install the headers.
Only thing I did not like was the two piece y-pipe. They say the Mac's are better, don't know, never used them. Got the arp bolts from Jegs and gaskets from Auto zone, never had to re-tighten them and no leaks.
Over all not a bad header for the money.

Well...headers are on now! I used the bolts and gaskets that came with the headers....no idea how much my performance has improved but the exhaust note sounds very nice through my hooker catback
Stupid intake manifold is leaking oil in back now after re-installing it....guess its gotta come off again and re-seal
Once oil leak is fixed i can take it to the track

Is there any way that you can get a sound/video clip of your setup? Inside and outside of the car would be perfect. I am leaning heavily toward the Pacesetter mids, and I also have a Hooker Catback. I'm trying to slide it in under the radar, so I am really interested in the sound difference over just the catback.
