Pacesetter LT gasket part #
Pacesetter LT gasket part #
Just wondering what the part number for header gaskets is? I am disconnecting my headers from my heads and wanted to put some good gaskets back in. I was just wondering if anyone has a part number for some good gaskets? Thanks
Stay away from the Percy dead soft. I am posting in a different thread . In general I am searching for a good gasket.
i would use the factory gasket from the dealer, when i bought mine all the research i did showed that to be the best option and so far i have not had an issue with them
I looked up the Felpro 1470 and 1406 and the 1406's port dimensions were bigger than the 1470's. Does that matter? I noticed the 1470's were almost double in price over the 1406's. So, for the price are the 1406's the best gasket for the money or should I not go the cheaper route since cheaper is not always better. Thanks for any insight

they match just right. I have no experience with the 1406's.
Are you running the stock heads?I chk,d the felpro catalog and the 1406 gasket was bigger and said to use w/Brodix Track1 head whereas the 1470 was for lt1/lt4,Vortec heads.I,m leaning towards the 1470 when the headers get installed, and ARP S.S HEADER bolts(6 pt).Any thoughts, ideas.
