Exhaust System From headers to exhaust tips

pacesetter install HELP!!!!

Im trying to install longtubes on my 97 z28 and i have all the stock exhaust off including the manifolds and i cant get either side to fit from the top or the bottom. My car is jacked up on jack stands an there is about 1 ft or 1.5 ft from the tire to the ground. do i need the car to be higher cause i cant get these things in

The driver side should very easily slide in from the bottom, considering you have removed the steering linkage. The passenger side depends. If they are race headers, you might be able to squeeze it in through the top with the valve cover off. With the emissions fittings you will need to pull the pass. side motor mount bolt and jack up the engine. Check to see if they are hanging up on anything. Mine kept getting caught on the stock spark plug wire clips, so I pulled them out.

mine on my 94z both went in from the bottom very easily,so easily that when i unbolted the passenger side it completly fell out lol.they will fit,just may take a little help if you know what i mean

thanks guys i got them in. i did have to take off the steering linkage thing and the passenger side valve cover.

Nice, you should notice a big difference over stock manifolds.

As did I, probably the only way you will get them into there desired spot.
