ORY & dropping transmission

I've got the stock exhaust on my car, but I've seen pics of ORY installs. I've had to drop my transmission for several reasons & predict that I'll be dropping it several times in the future..... if nothing else to change the clutch.

To do this, it looks like the ORY will have to be removed. So, do you guys have the ORY welded in, or do you use exhaust clamps?

clamp it or weld on flanges that can unbolt. especially in a 6 speed car. clutch failure would mean you would have to cut your y pipe. unless they make one that clears the tranny? do you have any pics of what your workin with?

Those clamps work awesome, one of my regular band clamps broke and replaced it with one of them and I'll be changing all of my clamps to that style.

Re: ORY & dropping transmission

I had 3 bolt flanges welded to the collectors of my pacesetters and ran a custom 3" ORY that I bought from a member on here.
