Need help picking a Y-pipe for my setup...

Okay, so thinking down the road here I will ditch my Hooker headers in my Z in my sig for a set of Kooks 1 7/8 primaries. I also have a Borla Catback I will be keeping, but I will need a good y-pipe to connect the Kooks to the Borla.

What does everyone reccomend? I want to stay stainless, performance and flow must be ideal here (no cats). Also need something that is going to fit well and not give me clearance issues.

You mean primary stepped because IIRC they do not make 1 7/8 headers straight through. I think they don't fit....

ugh.. I spent so much money on my Y-pipe setup and crap and now I want to change it... I guess I will be totally LIMITED by it

No, I think he means 1 7/8 primaries to the collector. I'm pretty sure kooks makes them. As far as y pipes, my brother used the kooks catted y pipe on his lt1 with his 1 3/4 kooks headers and it tucks up quite nicely. much nicer than my qtp ory does at least. His hooked up to an LM1, though, but i'm pretty sure with a little work it will fit fine with your borla.

That was on a 1 3/4 setup. Mine will be the 1 7/8 setup, which I have heard there are clearance issues if you go with the Kooks Y-pipe with the Kooks 1 7/8 headers. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

What y pipe do you have? What one do you need?
