Try searchin on this one, I remember seeing something exactly like this just recently.

I think pacesetter is the way to go though.

my brother just bought some pacesetters a month ago...have had the pass side off 5 times...flange is warped leaked first time he put them on. Now they have to go to the machine shop to get fixed and he is out a vehicle. I know anyone can have problems but I think they are just el'cheapo headers.

I run pacesetter because every set of hooker headers i see is all rusty. I think their coating is not that good.

I have run my hookers for the past 7 years with the same fel-pro gaskets for 7 years. They have been recoated once and the coating is coming off again.

The pacesetters are probly fine we just had a problem with the flange being warped

Running JetHot (Hooker) Lts on Sportlines, not much clearance at all.
Going to raise the car back to stock height.
I had to use a LT Spohn torque arm crossmember and that made it even worse.

You'll probably have the same issues with both Pacesetter and Hooker.

The quality between the two will be pretty close. The coating on the Pacesetters isn't the best either though. One of the advantages of the Pacesetters is their slip fit style which makes for good ground clearance.

The pacesetters give excellent ground clearance. They also make changing spark plugs a breeze. I've had mine for 3 yrs and the coating is still good up top but the bottom next to the road is showing some rust. Just make sure you don't use the pacesetter gasket. You must get the felpro D shaped gasket(1074 I think) and they will seal no problem.

pacesetters tuck up better, seem to be easier to install, and seem to hold up better. watch for bent flanges, just check them with a level before you put them on. Mine had about 1/4" gap on one side, but it tightened up against the head no problem. a common problem with pacesetters is the collector being too high on the driver side. I "clearanced" mine slightly with a floor jack, and ran a 2.5" pipe and i have no problems.
