lt pc's and magnaflow

I bought lt coated pacesetters w/ y pipe and a magnaflow catback for my 95 and I plan on doing some kind of cat bypass- I know there are cat replacement pipes, but I have access to a full shop with tubing expanders and benders so would it be easy to make one instead? I'm sure it would be a lot cheaper. I also removed egr and air pump and will be having these deleted out of my computer so do I still to run O2 sensors and will the removal of egr and air affect the readings on my O2's?

When you mention a cat bypass, you are not thinking of reusing your stock y-pipe, correct.? The stock y-pipe will not even come close to bolting up to LT headers. I'm a little confused, are you going to add a cat into a Pacesetter off-road y-pipe, and then a bypass after that?

Yeah I'm confused too. You got the y-pipe for the LTs right? If so you do not need to do a cat bypass since all of that will be removed when you take off the old exhaust. The y-pipe that you got with the LTs should go right into the magnaflow catback and you don't need any cat bypass or anything.

Yep, I've got the off road ps y pipe and your saying that this eliminates the cat? This should bolt up to the magnaflow intermediate pipe? I looked at the end of the intermediate pipe on the magnaflow kit and it has a flange, where as the ps y pipe is a slip fit. Anyhow, as long as the two meet together, I can modify the intermediate pipe to fit the slip fit on the y pipe. This sound right?

thanks
