LPP Polished Stainless Lt1 Headers

Updates? Any of you who were on the reserve list ever get your headers? From what I've seen on other sites they still haven't shipped out any of them.

Just trying to see what is going on. My dad is interested in a set of stainless headers that are cheaper than Kooks.

The manufacturer LPP is using to build the headers is delayed because of the merge spike. So x company farmed out to another for the merge spike. Kinda sketchy...I ended up getting my money refunded awhile ago...I simply couldn't wait any longer, so I ordered some kooks to replace my current LT's. I have a lot bigger fish to fry right now, as in getting my *** to the track and see where the new engine stands.

If I were you I'd put my money on the second batch, There's suppose to be a few changes which would make the headers a lot better... (slots removed from flanges?)

But I kinda can't help but wonder what is really going on with the production of these LT's...

Hm okay. The headers looked basically identical to Kooks but with a bette grade of steel so the interest was there. If they are still in production that is a bit of a red flag.

Yeah, The thing I didn't understand was when I put my order thru I thought I'd recieve my LT's in a couple weeks, not a couple months. Whoever pulls the strings for LPP (Pretty sure it's a one man operation) probably should have had the first batch made and then marketed his product...That's kinda what was odd about the whole deal, and now it's just taking longer and longer to get them because of "this" or "that"

Very odd...I hope they do get out, and sell well. But I can't help but think the worst sometimes, and that this might be a scam.

Did you pay up front? If so, then everyone who did a pre-pay order
are the "investors". Personally, I would not partake with that agreement.

If you placed a pre-order, but did not pay for the headers up-front,
then you're not out anything.

Yeah, I gave the guy my money...I then asked for it back, because of time restraints. You are correct, I'm not out anything. Doesn't meant that I'm not concerned for the other people that are still waiting though. $550 for Stainless LT's with y-pipe is a hell of a deal, hopefully it's not another one of those too good to be true examples...

I doubt that it's a scam. He does have similar LS1 headers on the market, doesn't he? They sound like a good deal, assuming they're of good quality. I wish my Kooks were 321 stainless.

I doubt it too, but this day in age you never know...The 321 is a bonus, I'm just scared about fitment, That's why I chose to go with the high priced kooks, I never thought I would end up paying that much for headers, but I had recieved some pretty iffy/bad info on the fitment of the LPP LT's by the main guy, and I needed some LT's quickly.

We're all going to have to wait and see what the finished product looks like before we say anything about them I guess, but who knows when that will be....?
I will soon have my LPE H/C LT1 all put together so, hopefully I might be able to throw a set of the LPP's on there aslong as they're not worth a diddly poo, or if they're put together in the next year or so.

I'm too sarcastic...

It's definitely taking the guy a while to get them to market. If your experience with the Kooks is anything like mine, you won't be disappointed. I got the basic 1 3/4" primaries, but they fit like a glove. I also had them coated with Jet Hot's Extreme Sterling. I got mine from Maryland Speed. I was happy with the price. I was willing to pay a premium to get something that's going to last the life of the car.

Just arrived today. I also bought mine from Maryland Speed, w/ same coating, 1 3/4 primaries. I see no flaws at all, so I can't complain. Pictures of them don't really do them justice compared to seeing the header in person. I also like the fact of the D-port flange, which many header companies do not implement in their products for LT1 cars.

I wouldn't worry about it. 321 is overkill for anything short of a turbo header.

In case anybody is curious(I know BTC is following this stuff in the thread at LS1tech ), the first batch of these went out. Somewhat mixed reactions so far and no pictures of them installed yet.
