Lowered SS and Headers?

Question. I have an 01' SS. The car has been lowered quite a bit. I'm not sure exactly how much, it was lowered before I bought it. I wanted to install LT headers, but I'm concerned about ground clearance. Could someone point me in the right direction as to a quality set-up for Headers, Y-pipe, Cats and Cat-back for my lowered car? I have to run cats, I live in las vegas, we have annual smogs. I am replacing everything from the headers back. Also, I'm looking for the most cost effective set up too, not really wanting to break the bank with it.

Thanx

No engine questions that I can see so I'll ship you off to the EXHAUST forum.

Thanx Al, sorry bout that. Anybody with some advice? There must be some more lowered F-bodies w/ headers out there.

I didn't have any problems with Pacesetter LTs and Eibach springs in my old car.

Going to go with the Pacesetter long tubes, coatted, with the SLP loudmouth 1. Also going to have the plugs and wires done while it's going up. I'm going have sleeves put on the wires, good idea? Very hot in the summer here in vegas. Hope this all works out good. Thanx.

This is the Header set-up.

I have the eibach sportline and pace setter long tubes and I scrape pretty bad on the freeway with more than 1 person in the car. I am going back to stock height.

Yeah, but then again.. you don't have an LS1 car.

For some reason my stock-ride height LT1 car had less header/Y-pipe clearance than my lowered LS1 car. Weight of the iron motor? Worn LT1 motor mounts?

I have no idea.

My stock height '94 with normal height tires and Pacesetter LT's ended up with 4.5 inches clearance from bottom of the collector (lowest point) to the ground. The y-Pipe then stayed close to that height till it rises a bit where it goes over the cross member brace.
