Long tubes hit motor mount

I just got my Pacesetter Long Tubes on my 96 Z28. I havn't started it up yet. They are laying on the motor mount on the passengers side. And, the collector in sorta forced up against the floor board on the passengers side. Do you think this might be a problem when the engine is shaking around? And, won't the floor get hot on that side since the collector is hugging the bottom of the floor? Should I worry about the carpet?

If you have the headers bolted on, just pull down on
the end of the collectors just enough to slightly bend
the tubes to give enough clearance under the car. If
the tubes are still contacting the motor mount, you
may have to remove and notch them.

If the motor mounts are worn out, that can lead to some clearance issues. Otherwise, some people have had to pull out a dremel and notch the mount a bit to give some added clearance.

They are poly mounts. I sure hope I don't have to pull it out and notch it.
