long tube exhaust sound..
long tube exhaust sound..
i'd like to go with long tubes, but the cars i've heard sound loud and hollow, im guessing cause the straight pipe, since no room for a resanator,cats..i'll be going with pacesetter long tubes, pace setter offroad y-pipe,to a cutout, magnaflow muffler...i want to get a nice deep rumble out of it, will the pacesetters provide that? or is there a different y-pipe setup i could do to get that deepness i want? thanks for any help..
You can try http://ls1sounds.com/ , Theres a couple LT1's on there
See if you like this, its my 97z28 with a hotcam idling thru pacesetter LTs, pacesetter ORY, closed 3" cutout, and magnaflow catback.

Nope, sorry....that right there was the last time it cranked. Always make sure you clean out blasting sand from your intake, otherwise it'll get into your piston rings and destroy the whole inside of your motor.
I would search around a bit, there are alot of setups out there. Alot of how it sounds will have to do with the catback you choose as well. Also, if you find a small enough sized cat, you can pull off having a catted off-road y-pipe.
