The setup is nice, but is in no way worth what they want for it. I have seen some home fabbed exhausts that looks just as good and only cost $300-$400 or less (not including headers)

Look around on the web and you can find good deals on mandrel bends and anyone that has a welder, something to cut the pipe, and alot of patience can make an exhaust that looks just as good as that one from Kooks

Sorry, but I would buy the Bassani true duals for $800 (which IMO is still too much for exhaut pipe) before I would ever pay more than $2K for an exhaust system

No I personally believe that the exhaust setup that they did can be done in the driveway, or garage of someones house that has the patience to do it.

Today I just bought a vertical/horizontal bandsaw to do my exhaust and make my emmision block off plates. I also found a place online that sells the mandrel bends that I will need for my exhaust and I'm going to fab my own exhaust and it won't cost $2500 for it either, mostly because it doesn't say "KOOKS" on it but what do I care? If you want to pay that much for a name, don't let me stop you, but there are lots of places that can do just as good of a job and it won't cost half that much.

This is all just my opinion, if you want to spend that much on bent pipe and a couple mufflers go right ahead

If it doesn't include headers that seems crazy expensive.

Yes it can, I did it over the Thankgiving holiday w/e...over the axle to boot...and have 2 different muffler configs for it....it doesn't look as nice as the Kooks, but who the hell is going to see it..and after that Kooks system is on a daily driver thru the rain and mud you won't tell a difference
Just used a Universal aluminized steel manderal dual exhuast from Jegs, a wire feed welder, and a cutoff saw, and a pipe expander in an impact wrench.

This part is the same no matter what muffs you use

or with Hooker Aerochambers for a much quiter rumble

That is a beautiful setup, I could see that tallying 2K easily though.
