How much for labor?

Sometime next year, if I can save up money for headers and a full exhaust. How much would I expect to pay a decent shop to do my complete exhaust?

I would attempt it myself, but landlord would have a fit. Plus I have limited access to tools, ramps, and I couldnt weld any cats into my y-pipe if I went long tubes.

So theoretically, about how much would all of that be?

Full exhaust just for install it would probably close to $600-1000, then plus all the parts you need to buy

Ouch, that's a valvetrain upgrade... guess I'll be buying tools and pissing off my landlord.

Thanks.

I asked the shop that welded in my cats what a header install would typically cost, he said anywhere from 600-850. You will definitely be saving a chunk of change by doing it yourself.

Has the shop ever done headers on a fourth-gen? That is a pretty good deal I would say.

well, what all you want installed? long tubes? shorties, mids? cats going back on?

for my mac mids, orp, tsp rumbler cb, and some customizing i paid $400. thats no welding involved, just clamps and labor for the assembly.

same shop just charged $200 to install lt's on another 4th gen

200 bucks. You guys live by some good shops, around here, header installs are a little pricey from the shops I have talked to. If I found one willing to do a LT install for two hundred dollars, lets just say I would have a few less scars on my arms right now.

Find a nearby car enthusiast with a good set of tools, buy him a case of beer. Cheapest labor you'll ever find!
