6 bolts for each manifold. It'll probably be easier to find and spray them from the bottom of the car.

Lets hope its 6 per side. Mine only had 5 on passenger side . Now i have aftermarket headers . Use a long straw on your PB Blaster container and feel for them. I would let them soak for a couple days and then once you break them loose hit them again and wait a few minutes. Don't forget about the EGR attachment on the back passenger side.

You probably had a bolt break off, not uncommon at all.

yup they are both right.. 6 bolts per side.

also, as he said above,if you dont have one lying around steal a straw of of a can of WD40 when you buy the PB blaster... spraying everything down made my header install sooo much easier... that and i only had 5 bolts on one side the bolt closest to the firewall was busted on the drivers side for me (as 2000GTP said it happens all the time)

once you get the starter and alternator out of there its not too bad... that was another thing about spraying everything down so many times beforehand. I got a real good idea of where everything is. just try to imagine where everything is and get a little creative

The one on the front passenger side is probably the worst... just make sure you have plenty of different sockets and wrenches and just exparament to see what works

Thats a good plan, I soaked all of my bolts for a few days straight before touching them with a socket wrench. Every single one came out with no resistance.

I remember one bolt in particular that i could only only get to by shooting it straight up and i had to watch other wise it could go anywhere. No need to say anymore.

I heard a few of you say that it was rather common to break a header bolt whe removing the manifolds. How'd you go about fixing that?
