hookers or pacesetters

i have a 94 lt1 built to 388ci , 11 to 1, trickflo heads and xfi280 cam. it has shorties on it now , but i am going to longtubes. what are the thoughts on hooker lt vs. the pacesetters lt? i am going to a muffelx 4" cat back system after it.
thanks

oh ya , or are kooks worth the money?

I'll give ya a guess what I think

I've just added Kooks to the second Z. Fit and finish are spot on. I've read
a lot of posts from folks having to do mods to get other headers to fit.

Personally, I don't want the hassle. For me, Kooks "just work" and being
stainless provides another level of "comfort", longevity wise.

Personally, from a quality standpoint, I would go for the Kooks as well if you plan on keeping the car awhile and want an exhaust system that is going to last.

I have a set-up that is similar to yours and I went with Pacesetter LT's. As others have stated, Kooks are superior but pricey. The Pacesetters presented no fitment issues, have great ground clearance (my car is lowered) and overall, have exceeded my expectations. When I was shopping for my LT's I did a search and found the majoirty of folks favored the Pacesetters when price was an issue. Hope this helps. Good luck!

You won't be disappointed with the pacesetter long tubes. Just make sure to get the ceramic coating.
