Hooker vs pacesetter LTs for LS1.. Differences?
What are the big differences here? Collector, metal thickness? I want pacesetters cause they're cheap and they have a good rep, but the Mufflex Y I also want will not fit Pacesetters, only Hooker LT's.
Oh, I'm referring to the regular Hooker LT's, 1 3/4" Primaries to a 3" collector. The Super comps aren't needed on a Stock cube engine.. I really need to replace my SLP LT's and my Y is crushed to s**t.

^ I would, but I want the Mufflex Y. Better merge collector. I COULD make my own.. But I'm also thinking of going w/ Duals thru a CME.
I can't make up my mind on what to do after the LT's, I just want to see what the difference is between the Pacesetters and Hookers is for the LS1. I remember a thread comparing them for the LT1, and The flange thickness was better, and the welds were of better quality for the Pacesetters. An all around better LT, but I'm wonder as far as collector scavenging qualities, and possible flow differences between the two brands.

The main difference in LT1 world is that Hookers have the detachable primary for the number 1 cylinder and they also have three bolt collector flanges vs. Pacesetter's slip-fit flanges. I've always heard ground clearance was better with Pacesetter LT's.
