well good luck, he is experienced so he can feel a bolt out ..where as you might just muscle it and break it off. Should be a breeze, but not as much room as a big truck... you owe the man some booze and a mid priced hooker

That is the beautiful thing about working in a shop, a box of donuts and a cup of coffee can get you alot of work done.

PB blaster is your friend right now...I had a buddy try to put LT's on his 98 F-150 and didn't use anything other than WD-40. He broke 3 bolts off in his heads (2 passenger and 1 driver's side) Talk about shooting yourself in the feet. I warned him and he did it anyways. lol

yep with that PB Blast, the bolts practically unbolt themselves. Great stuff.

Very true, in my case, those manifold bolts came undone with almost no effort on the ratchet. These were bolts that were completely rusted on an engine with 94K.

All of mine came right off ... two were already a bit loose - either that
or all the PBBlaster I sprayed on scared those bolts loose!

I can vouch for pbblaster, I didnt use it when I was unbolting the stock y pipe and I broke one of the manifold studs clean off because the nut seized. Then I stopped sprayed everything down, next morning the rest came off real easy. When I do my headers I will probably use an entire can, then again If I break a bolt off in the head it won't be too big of a deal since I'm pulling the heads anyway.

i prefer aerokroil over pb blaster. when the blaster fails, the kroil keeps going

it's available at www.kanolabs.com
