header-no egr

ok, another question in the continuing saga of installing headers. the egr on my car was tuned out sometime ago. the part that attaches to the header is still there, but there is no place on the header to attach it. what do i do? cut it off, plug it or leave it hanging there?

You could buy some EGR blockoff plates for 20 bucks and remove the EGR system altogether.

I second that notion. Is is very easy and very cheap to do. They sell the plates on ebay.

Yeah, and you could even make your own if you have the motivation and some sheetmetal handy.
