Getting ready for the PS LTs!!

I've been getting after this exhaust, tearing everything down, all i have now are the plugs, manifolds & starter, also need to disconnect at the I pipe (may need to brake out the o'le hacksaw), all in all its going very well & easy too , i only have about 1.1/2 in it, but this sucker has 3 O2 sensers

The cats are small, they are supposidely high flow jobs, i might put a Y or just run an X, haven't decided yet.

If your car is a 97, you should have 4 02 sensors. I ended up buying a Craftsmen electric reciprocating saw. I had the y-pipe and catback off in ten minutes. The rest of the time was spent carefully taking the stock exhaust manifolds off being cautious not to break any bolts off into the head.

Its a 97, so i'll keep looking for that 4th o2, will it be down the pipe some? yeah i'm taking my time with the plugs & manifold bolts, thats why i started on this before i even get the headers, there for i'm not in a hurry, i'm doing this at my storage unit, so no power outlets.

Will i need to hook up all these o2 sensors, or just 2 on the headers?

You'll need the two front 02 sensors, those are what will go into the 02 bungs on the headers. Also, the stock 02 harness may not stretch far enough to reach the sensor. You'll most likely have to pick up a pair of 02 sensor harness extensions. As for the rear 02 sensors, you can either have the codes removed from the PCM via tuning, or you can pick up a pair of 02 simulators to plug into the rear 02 sensor harness connectors.
