Flowmasters on a TD setup

I put a Loudmouth setup on a friends Mach 1 and kept the old mufflers his car had on it (Flowmaster 40s). I was wondering what you guys opinions would be of using these on my true dual setup since they are free to me. I know they don't flow as well as most, but considering I'm not putting down whopping amounts of power, and would have true duals with long tubes, how bad would I be hurting myself?

I ran 40s, then glasspacks, now the sweet thunders. Honestly my dyno numbers were all about the same.

I can say the 40s sounded the best, with a nice growl all the way across the board. The sweet thunders do have a bit more of a bullet sound up top.

I'm using 40's on mt TD setup. I have probably exactly what you are looking to do. LT 2.5 TD to the axle with 40's. It sounds really nice however I have noticed that they pop alot on decel if you are not trying to control it. I'm not sure if its because I have all of my emissions equip off or if because the FM just do that on setups not pushing alot of HP. WOT though, they really do scream.

Yeah Jim thats exactly what I'm doing. Longtubes, 2.5 x pipe, no cats or emmissions, flowmaster 40s dumped at axel. Thanks for the help!
