Question FLOWMASTER or GMMG?

right now i own an 02 camaro z28. i have a flowmaster exhaust system with an 80 series muffler. im thinkin on replacing it with a GMMG chambered exhaust system. in your opinion, do you think the GMMG would sound louder and more agressive. ive only seen videos of the chambered exhaust and im not sure if it would be louder than flowmasters. thanks.

I have been told by people that drove behind me that it can be loud if I hold a gear. in normal driving with a 6 speed it is not to loud but you can hear it inside the car. I love mine

my friend hates it because she can't hear on her cell phone

GMMG, some may say its expensive, but for all the compliments that it gets nothing beats it.

The Flowmaster in comparison to the GMMG is like apples to oranges. If you have the money, I would go with the GMMG.

GMMG mufflers are just glorified glasspacks. Not that great IMO and I have even heard them on GMMG built large CUI cars. I've been in the hobby a long time and just don't agree with the hype of the GMMG.

All the original poster is asking about is loudness and agressiveness. If he wants loud and agressive then no single 3" system will be as loud or agressive as a dual 3" system w/bullets. Plus I could get a dual system and LTs for the cost of the GMMG w/group purchase prices.

Honestly, if he is just wanting loud then a cutout would do well.

Have you heard it on a LT1. IMO nothing sounds better. I picked up a used GMMG for a great price so it wasn't as big of a deal for me. Check over on ls1tech.com often, they are always being sold over there.

IMO they sound like any other system with glasspacks. I'm just not into the crackle. To me it doesn't sounds agressive, just cheap since packs can be bought for under $30. Growing up it was always the "wanna be" fast cars that ran glass packs so they would sound loud like they had something. Either them or the necks in their trucks. The LM sounds more like a truck w/packs though.
