The SS went in today for Full exhaust

American Racing 1 3/4" Headers for 98+ F-Body
Camaro Loudmouth 2 Exhaust system from SLP Performance Parts (3.5 slash tips)

Also along with the install, plugs and wires, MSD wires and i forgot what kind of plugs.

I Should have the before/after dyno results posted later tomorrow. I'm really excited and can't wait.

If i figure it out i'll post a video/sound clip on you tube or something

Here is the dyno with the full exhaust installed. I picked up roughly 20 hp and 20 torque from full exhaust

And i paid around $300 for the dyno and installation

Nice gains, not a bad price for dyno time and the installation.

Its wierd. the car doesnt "feel" faster but i know it is cause im keeping up with my buddies cars that would walk me before. When i mean feel, like less torq down low. Other than that the car gets up and goes haha.

The car sounds nice in my option. The headers fit amazing, no leaks squeeks, noises of any kind they did a really good job.

less backpressure, better flow, you'll lose a little down low torque.

Are those gains comparable to what would be expected on a stock LT1? I'm curious because I'm planning to do headers and exhaust on my car within the next 6-12 months. I was actually hoping the gains on my car would be more significant, and maybe they are on an LT1.

$300 sounds like a great price for a complete exhaust installation and dyno time. I'm planning to install mine myself. I'm not sure the pain and suffering will be worth saving a couple hundred bucks.

you have to remember the LT1's stock hp are around 285 for 96+ and 275 for the 95 and below to the flywheel. You might see similar gains but I wouldn't expect as much as an ls1.

I'm not sure why, but for some reason I was under the impression that headers and exhaust would net 30-50 HP at the wheels on an LT1 depending on the level of mods. Maybe I need to do some more reading.
