Exhaust tips to close rear bumper?

I have installed new exhaust tips during the winter and I plan on taking the Formula out for the first ride in a couple of days so I would like to know what you think about it, if itīs to close to the rear bumper and it will start to melt?

Give your opinion and experience!

I bad eyes are having a hard time judging the clearance from the picture. In my particular case, I have enough clearance between the pipes and the bumper to where I can wedge my hand flat in there. I haven't had any issues with the bumper melting or getting discolored.

Ok they are magnaflow #35166 it would be nice if mine also could be at least 1 inch lower then now. I canīt get a hand between the tips and the bumper, on the tightest spot itīs only about little less then half of a inch..(1cm) I start to think itīs too tight..

Is your catback welded or clamped together? If it is clamped, you can loosen them up and adjust the tailpipes to your liking with no problem.
