Very true. It does seem that everyone likes whatever exhaust they seem to have on their car, due to a little bias. (myself included)

I heard the magnaflow cat back and it sounds awsome. Not too loud but very good tone to it. I don't like to get botherd by the cops.

my flowmaster sounds excellent i think... its very cheap but i heard terrible things about the flow. I really want GMMG and longtubes myself, which i will be getting whenever my corvette sells.

I've got a lot of compliments on the sound of my car. I have Hooker LTs, no cats and Hooker 3" cat-back. Look at the clip in my sig to hear it through a dyno pull (although the video doesn't do it justice)...

Coming from a Loudmouth Owner, When I was 17 just after I purchased my car from working fast food for 2 years, the first thing I got was a Loudmouth exhaust.

OMG did I think I was cool. The thing sounded like a beast, and like it had alot done to it, but all it had was exhaust. Now that I look back, 5 years later, I feel like a ricer. Granted the car was quick, but it sounded like a drag car. It DID NOT perform like a drag car.

It's hard to beleive that you won't do anything else to your car.

As I started to get more into cars, I added more parts. I have 1 3/4 Long tubes, 3 inch y, no cat, straigh into the loudmouth exhaust. Let me tell you. It sucks. It doesn't sound very good at Idle, it is the worst sound known to man at part throttle. It sounds like complete ***. I am actually embarassed to drive it at part throttle. However, it does have that "The world is coming to an end" top fuel drag car sound when you go to WOT.

So basically now, I idle around town, or go WOT at all times till I get my exhaust changed.

Also, cops will LOVE you. You're car will be louder than anything on the road. MY car was LOUDER with the LM and headers, than it was STRAIGHT HEADERS!

It will be fun for a year or two, but will get very old. People will say Wow, that thing sounds great! Till they see how slow it actually is, or have to drive it all the time.

Well see Im gonna do stuff to my car other than the exhaust but its my daily driver. I worked on my mustang and its complete and has ALOT so Im just doing some minor stuff to the camaro and Im going to autocross it this summer. Im not gonna do alot of things to it, not gonna put headers, not gonna take off the cat or anything just exhaust and a few little things to make it handle better, i just want it to sound better. Thanks for your information tho.

I'm dumping my hooker catback. It is too loud for me with my headers, so I am going with a stock muffler to have that nice quiet stock sound again.

Open long tubes, with turn down tips on the ends.....sounds best to me. Not to mention less weight.

Pacesetter headers with high flow cats to get rid of high pitch rasp and flame control. Bent 3 inch piping to the side.

I have yet to find an lt1 camaro that sounds deeper or more throaty than mine.

With a total expense of about less then 100 bux

I absolutely LOVE that exhaust. I would not trade it for the WORLD.
