Exhaust for my 85 Z28
Exhaust for my 85 Z28
Since I can't put duals on my 85 Z, what is my best option for a kick *** exhaust? I'm thinking, eliminate the cat and running 3" stainless into a Flowmaster with 3" outlets??? Also there are so many mufflers that are "performance mufflers", I want one that is deep and throaty. And with the least amount of restriction. Thanks!
The shop said you cant because how it runs up in along that channel or whatever it's called. Do you have pics of your set up?
find a new shop.
its a custom job...but not THAT hard.
you'll lose some ground clearance, but really not that much if you go with 2.5" pipe. i've got 3" and i only scrape a couple places around town...and barely.
get the universal Xpipe setup from summit or jegs, a couple 24" bullet mufflers and dump it before the axle.
unfortunatly i don't have any of it in the car...hasn't been on a lift in years.
here is one of the exhaust pulled out when i did my clutch
