THe Pacesetters were actually better then the Hookers for the LT1's. Thicker flange, better welds, they'll prolly outlast your car. My buddy had them on his TA and they fit NICE! Sounded mean as hell too!

DO you need emissions equipment or are you looking for race system LT's??

^ If you have sniffer/treadmill inspections, you should get the Emissions headers. If you don't have a sniffer test, get the Race LT's..

Just watch what CB you get, it could get loud and REALLY raspy w/ the wrong setup. I'd say Hooker LT's and the Mufflex Y; THat's one of the BEST setups but can get pricey. If you're on a budget, get the Pacesetters. There was a thread around here somewhere comparing Hooker LT's to Pacesetter LT's for the LT1 and the Pacesetters were the better buy. But the Mufflex Y only fits Hookers..

-Random Tech Cats. -GOOD flow for emissions!
-O2 Sensor extensions
-Gaskets
-O2 Sims (for Race LT's, to prevent a SES light from the computer thinking your cats are bad.)

THe SLP install pack has all you need. I used the stock manifold bolts w/ no problem. They've been in there for about 3 years now. Re-tightened once after the install and that was it.. No locktite.

Been researching headers lately - looks like there are almost no options for a "Y" pipe and LT's if you want to maintain emissions hookups. Everything I see is "off road".

I can't get away this that in NJ, am I missing something?
