I went thru this same dilemma, started with gutted cats,

Dumped all that and went long tubes with a Magnaflow straight thru cat back kit, no cats,

Then I thought it was a just a little too raspy (since I didnt have cats), so I added an SLP resonator under the car by the driveshaft, that really brought down the rasp and drone inside the car, I was amazed. If was any louder I wouldnt like it, I even passed a cop WOT last week and although he was mad I was speeding past him he let me go, and didnt say anything about the noise.


Here's sound if anybody wants it.. sounds best with a sub!, idle/cruise around 1:20-1:40 and WOT most of the other time, Ironically, I think a LT1 Loudmouth starts up at 1:08, it sounds serioulsy high pitch and harsh, I knew what is was before looking at it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9kSv8K6rIQ
