Electric Cut-out Issue.

Ok, I purchased a Race Ready Performance Electric cut-out yesterday and I have it wired up correctly according to the instructions and it's centered on the outlet, I don't understand why it will not work? It's grounded well, I have it on a 12V source thats only hot when the key is on, and I have the fuse 3 amp in it. What am I missing?

Not familiar with that brand but maybe the switch or motor is bad? I had a QTP and it had a connector/plug just off the motor. If yours is the same way I'd disconnect it and check for power, if none backtrack from there and ensure the switch is getting power, double check the ground (I used a black wire off the cig lighter), etc.

Race Ready

I've got race ready cut outs on my car and had no trouble installing them and getting them to work. But, I have had several operating problems! I've sent two cut outs back for repair becouse they basically stopped working, maybe you just have a bad cut out. One good thing though, is their service. I have never had to pay for the repairs and I usually get the parts back in just 3-4 days!

I think the motor is shot, it's getting power, I took the cut out off today on my lunch break and hit the swtich, and the flange moves like 1/16" and stops. Will they still warranty it if you installed it yourself or am I up the creek on this one. The solder broke on the connector and I tried to repair it. I'm probably out $200 bucks.
