eldebrock headers

I have a 93 z. if anyone has had eldebrock headers let me know how they worked out. how did the coating hold up,how was install, fit(any leaks) performance gains. also because of the short tubes can msd wires be used under them with zip ties or what looms do I get. also do I need to wrap the wires up with heat sheilds. how far do the eldebrocks stay away from the starter? any problems there. let me know. found a set that would go well with my combo. gains=15rwh? thanks snareman

i have them for my 97.. they may be a little different due to the dual cats on my car but im not positive. anyway they were not so bad to install but on my the plug wires are a pain. i bought new msds and the first set got burned bad, so the second time i had to use zip tips everywhere to hold them back.. if you can get some longtubes.. i regret the edelbrocks.

Wire clearance is OK, just zip tie all the wires out of the way.

Be prepared to fight with the #5 plug and wire. i had to sacrifice a spark plug socket and cut it down a bt just to get in on the plug.

My set came with the car and I'm exploring options and getting rid of them soon. Unless you are getting an amazing deal or live in Cali...... go with LT's
