Doing the ole switcheroo

i am going to drop my current system, which is in my sig...

going to keep the pacesetter lt's and daul high flow cat y-pipe...
but the 4" mufflex and flowmaster muffler is coming off... (not loud enough! and that bastard is heavy!)

i am going to install a 4" dia. x16" lg. dynomax bullet muffler dumped before the rear...

how does that sound? do you think it will flow better?

i know it will be a hell of alot cheaper!

Can you run the true duals all the way to the tailend of the car or does the regulations restrict that as well? Otherwise, you could always consider doing a catback with a cutout.

^^ you can run true dauls as long as they exit out the rear and the use of cutouts is also against the law...(however he would probably look past the cutouts)
he did state that i can have my muffler in front of the rearend but i would have to have a tailpipe exit out the rear.
but the whole dump thing would be hard to get away with...

which system are you getting and from where?

do you need the kit for the lt1's if you have a ory-pipe?

might just have to and it looks like the least restrictive...

ive had the SLP Loudmouth on my car for a while now with stock manifolds and stock y pipe...i just recently bought pacesetter LTs with emissions hookups and the pacesetter y pipe and im having 2 Pypes Mini Cats welded into the y pipe by this guy i know that has his own shop. IIRC i got my SLP Loudmouth from www.NewEraPerformanceParts.com about a year ago and about a month or two ago purchased the Pacesetter LTs and Y Pipe from them as well....they run great deals all the time... the pypes mini cats are because i have to pass emissions in NJ and i got them from www.rpmoutlet.com/powercat.htm they are priced very low compared to other cats and from what i hear do a great job...

I've had my Pypes cats for almost two years now and they have worked flawlessly. And as mentioned, you can't beat the price. I picked up mine from Pypes directly for 130 shipped for a pair. The out of box quality is amazing and they are holding up very well.

um yeah, i ordered it tuesday morning and they didn't even ship it out yet... i hate waiting

they said it might ship today...
i want to say, "get off your *** and send it... can't be to hard, i ship things enough to know it doesn't take that much.."
just venting...

when i did call up the guy acted like a stooge it was like talking to the wall... never again...

that is why i would pay more at Summit or Jegs...

u can tell me to shut-up now... lol
