cheap/great sounding exhaust!

Hey guys, just thought I would let everyone who is on a tight budget like myself know about this set-up. I liked my cut out but it was just too annoying to drive every day... so I went to a local muffler shop and picked up a Flo-Pro Twister muffler (same as moroso spiral flow, just cheaper) and had it welded to the end of my factory y-pipe and ran a straight pipe back to the axle and dumped it. It sound awesome and the best part is it only cost me $95 . It does have a little bit of interior resonance, but it's a lot better than the cut out. So if anyone wants a cheap great sounding (and great flowing) exhaust you might want to give this a try .

EDIT: I'll try and get some pics up as soon as it quits raining here

yeah I have a couple of buddies running the Y pipe with a bullet or similar muffler dumped at the axle. Don't see that too often, but it's a good budget exhaust idea.

are you running a turn down at the end of the exhaust to help with interior noise?

yeah, there is a turndown that flares off to the passenger side. I don't know how much it helps, but its on there.

Mine was cheaper. I just chopped the muffler off and ran a piece of pipe out the back. This was on a stock exhaust with dual cats. It sounded awesome, I got compliments all the time. Very deep and throaty. It was loud, but not as loud as you might think.
