Changing to Borla XR1's
Changing to Borla XR1's. Don't get me wrong I love the sound of the Spintech Mufflers, it's just that I'm having some custom work done and I'm going to have to replace my mufflers and well....... I've kinda been wanting the XR1's. It will also erase any debate within as to whether or not I'm losing anything through the Spintech mufflers. Do any of you guys have any pics of your setups WITH XR1's Over the axle and out the rear. Kinda like this, but with XR1'S

Yeah, I've got my Spintech mufflers under the car now and it's not really working for me. For the most part I don't scrub anywhere but there are a few places that I do. Also, I need to have tailpipes to pass a Va. state inspect. I'm going to have Tyson @ Performance Auto Fabrication up in Md do a setup like I posted. I saw where he did a setup like it on an SS car. Point is, if I'm going to spend the big bucks having him do tail pipes I'm not leaving the mufflers under the car. For me to do this I need to replace the mufflers. The ones I have now have 3" inlets and 2.5" outlets b/c my original intentions were to leave the mufflers under the car and run 2.5" tails over the axle for the extra room, but I know that Tyson can run 3" across the axle so I'm dumping the Spintech mufflers for 3" XR1's. I'll save the Spintech's for my Mustang.
