bullet difference?

so i'm ordering a bunch of stuff for my car right now and i'm going to be doing a 2 1/2" true dual setup, dumped before the axles, with dynomax bullets...but i noticed they come in 2 different lengths (12" and 18")...which one do i go with? what difference does the length of the bullet make as far as sound and performance?

The longer bullets will be a little quiter. But I don't think our cars have enough room for the 18" bullets but I may be wrong. I have a 12" bullet on my car dumped and it doesn't sound too bad, but it snaps and cracks coming off of revs and I don't care for that too much.

Try twister mufflers if you don't like the crackle.

I had a true dual setup dumped before the axle with an x-pipe. I used the 12 inch bullets, they fit perfect and sounded great, not too loud IMO, but mean sounding.

Heres a pic, PM me for details, I'll see if I can dig up where I got the parts from.

The 18s will make it a little bit quieter. I have LT's, ORY, and a single 12" dumped bullet. I love the sound. It never pops or crackles...
