building my true duals; help me!

i was hoping some of you that have done exhaust work in the past or have a better understanding of exhaust might possibly be able to help me. i am currently building a true duals setup for my drag car with 3" pipe, mufflers, and a crossover. the crossover is necessary, my car was barely able to idle before and right now that is the scape goat.

basically i am building this thing and the plan was to run an X pipe. i am building this right now and i think that making the x-pipe will sacrifice clearance ( a lot of it ) and will require some fancy curves. i am thinking about just running an h-pipe between my driveshaft loop and my trans mission crossmember. I figure that there is enough clearance to do it, it would be a lot easier, and then i wouldn't have to worry abuot muffler placement because i would have all the room behind my torque arm's crossmember. i posted some pictures underneath of my plans. the light blue is the H and red is the X. let me know what you think.

Man that exhaust is going to hang way low!! I dont know why you are so concerned about running an H pipe on your car as it wont gain you much if not placed in the right spot in the system and f-body's make that very difficult to do. It may be too late for you now but I will tell you what I did,I have the BMR trac pack TA and instead of running the round crossmember tube under the floor boards I cut my floor board and used 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 mild steel tube to replace it,I cut and welded my TA mount to that instead and welded it into the floor and to my subframe connectors ,that allowed me to tuck my 3.5 inch exhaust tight to the floor. Also I cut out my rear seat pan areas and fabricated a box to weld in its place to allow my 2 chamber flowmasters tons of ground clearence. You cant see the exhaust at all on my car.Like I said though I wouldnt worry about the x pipe or H pipe, mine has been mid 9's without either.
