alright, i bought a single 3" exhaust cutout that i was going to put after my Y pipe. but turns out, with the new torque arm, and driveshaft looft, i am far from having enough room.

as far as putting it up before the cat's i would have to buy another one, and simply put i dont care that much for it to spend another $300 on a cutout.

i love the sound of my car, i just wanted somethin to make it nice and loud. should i bother with this or just take it back?

will it even be much louder than my exhaust right now? i mean im running a LM2 so itll obviously be louder, but like A LOT louder?

cause obviously the closer to the front the better, so i just wasnt sure?

 

if you already have loudmouth i wouldnt go with a cut out, just my opinion though cuz its already pretty loud

 

loud mouth 2. its WAY quieter than lm1, and sounds 10x better imo. not annoying or raspy

 

you're not gonna pick up any power with a cutout on a LM setup...

that's like putting cutouts on a true dual setup...

 

i know im not going to pick up power, but is it going to be a ton louder? like i want it so when i pull into a parking lot of a car show or something, my car is instantly the center of attention, right now people really only look if i give it a couple revs. LM2 is fairly quiet below 2500 rpm.

 

The spot in the i-pipe right before the rear axle dump is probably your best bet. Clearance is definitely pretty tight in the spot right after the y-pipe.
