borla vs loudmouth vs gmmg

Hi, i will be getting exhaust soon. I do plan on getting coated pacesetters. I would like to know what exhaust is the best sounding. I will have cats. Also, which is louder out of all of them.

Borla gets pretty loud, but I think Loudmouth would be the loudest. GMMG is just over priced.

IMO gmmg will sound the best, go with gmmg if you have the $$$ and go with loudmouth if you want it loud

Put a chanbered stick muffler in the I of the Borla or Loud mouth and it'll sound similar to the GMMG. Cool thing about the Borla is the ability to make it quieter when needed.

All that aside, if you're going with headers and you can get by with it, just get true duals.

I'd just get a local mufflershop to fabricate a 3" exhaust with a bullet muffler if you want loud.

That should cost you no more than $350 installed.

I think the Hooker Aero chamber mufflers sound the best.

Well, they are all stainless, which is a good thing. The loudmouth will be the cheapest and loudest. The borla will be up there in price unless you can find a used one, but it is adjustable with plates to control the loudness. And the GMMG is also going to be expensive unless you can find a used one, but I think the GMMG is the best sounding catback for LT1's.

Where are the options for Corsa, Magnaflow, and Dynomax?

I wouldn't buy any of the three you listed.

Im not sure I would buy a Dynomax. Corsa is very expensive, more than Borla if I remember. Magnaflow is a great value around $400 for a full 3" stainless system.

Why doesnt anyone mention B&B? Those quad tips are the hottest!

Yes, Corsa costs more than Borla. It is expensive because it's the best (and comes with a lifetime guarantee). I put 325/343 to the wheels with just a lid and a Corsa catback.

And Borla has a million mile warranty, same difference, AND is tuneable. Corsa cant knuckle up to that.

Tuneable? You mean the built-in cutout? Corsa flows better than Borla with the full-open plate.

Maybe you are unaware that there is like 7 different sized plated to fit in there and adjust the sound, hence tuneable.

I find that claim hard to beleive that through a muffler, the Crosa outflows an unplated Borla system.
