I've gota Borla cat-back on my '99 Z28. I've got it running wide ope with no plates in it. Is there any advantage to installing a cutout with the Borla?

 

Probably not, or so small a difference it isn't worth talking about.

 

there are times when you want to make it quite, Late at night after a couple of beers and when you have your old lady in the car with you, I ran the 2nd from the smallest plate and it has a nice rumble i think it even sound better then wide open
