Borla to true dual??????

I was just wondering if you like the results after switching from borla to true duals... I ask because I have someone interested in buying my borla exhaust, and I was thinking of going to true duals. Just don't want to regret it afterward. Also what setup was used on the true duals? What size piping was used, and what muffler/bullets did you go with..... Most of all were you happier with the results or do you miss your borla?

Thanks in Advance

I've debated the change, but I'd miss being able to deaden the sound.

If I went dual I'd have a bolt on under the axel rear exit set up going through a large muffler so I could make it quiet when I wanted. Then I could convert it over to dumped at the axel when I want it loud.

It just isn't top of my priority list right now though.

Go for the true duals. Personally I feel like an I-pipe doesn't do the car justice. True duals w/ LTs gives it an even more muscle car sound, and cleans the back end up because it doesn't have a muffler hanging sideways accross it.

Have you considered ground clearance?
Is that an issue for you?

for my true dual setup (including headers) has cost me right around $650
headers - 400
x-pipe - 95
moroso spiral flows - 90
and then a couple band clamps and hangers, and ur good

Well the borla is sold. It's 2.5 true duals for sure. I have a freind that is going to setup my true dual. He's going to make go over the axle and out the back. All I have to do is buy the piping, x pipe, and bullets. So I should beak out even if not less. Also my question is where should I put the bullets if I'm going all the way out?

if u want, u can put them right after the axle for maximum ground clearance, that should work, might look funny tho, idk.
what bullets are you using?dynomax, moroso?

I was thinking about putting the bullets either dynomax, or sweet thunders. But any ways I was thinking about setting up the bullets sort of like the GMMG exhaust. I wonder how hard that will be

Ability to reduce weight by taking off the post axel section and ground clearance.

With a large muffler underneath you lose quite a bit of clearance, plus you can put a much larger muffler in the stock location for better sound deadening. I like a relatively quiet car for road trips. But like I said, this is very low on my priority list. Ported heads 1st.
